One of the advantages of the online course is that the instructor should be able to update various aspects of his online module without
changing the whole of that module.
This is refered to as chunking.
On moodle, put the chunks in files on their own so that if you have to update anyone of them, it won't be a problem.
It is not advisable to be posting so much text directly on the site, rather put them in files, e.g. a word document and create links to them.
When you do this , in case there is a a mistake somewhere, you can easily target that particular file and update it.
